I am result oriented individual with certified data science skills (online data science courses ~500 hrs) and demonstrated history of quality research work. I did my Ph.D. in Physics from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany on the topic “spatiotemporal evolution of non-diffracting plasmonic pulses.” My responsibilities involve design, large-scale numerical simulations, and analysis of complex photonics structures. Over time, I have developed scientific and analytical competencies through my research work. A new concept of ‘Airy plasmons pulses’ has been my original contribution to science.
Before joining my Ph.D., I did my master’s at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India in Applied Optics. I got an opportunity to carry out my master’s thesis at TU Stuttgart, Germany through DAAD (German academic exchange service) fellowship in the field of optical metrology. I enjoyed working culture and life in Germany and decided to do a Ph.D. from Jena, Germany.
My research work mostly involved numerical computations and data analysis. During my Ph.D., I have also been following the tech news from different forums, no wonder my human-level intelligence was bugged by machine-level Artificial intelligence. Motivated by the current trend, reading the book Deep Learning and listening to The book of why , I grasped the basic idea of this field. After skimming through the online learning platform, I found few professional courses that could patch up my lacking skills. After finishing these courses, now I feel confident to mark on the journey as a data scientist.
I believe my existing skill sets can help to build the future generation of revolutionary products and services in corporate functional research.
Research Scholar (Ph.D.) in Physics, 2014-2022
Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany
M.Tech. in Applied Optics, 2011-2013
Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India and TU Stuttgart, Germany

This section provides an overview of my reserach project (Ph.D.) carried out at Institute of Applied Physics, Abbe Center of Photonics, Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, Germany.
In this project, I will use TensorFlow to create a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), to predict the next character in a string. Training the network is performed using CPUs and GPUs.
This project provides solution to real-life business problems ‘Housing complaints in New York city’.
